Membership and getting involved

A great way to meet people and feel more involved in your community - and a beautiful place to spend some time.

There are plenty of ways to get involved in the garden...
  • Become a member and in return for a small annual subscription receive our newsletter, use of the tea hut and get keys to the garden. You can get involved in the garden as little or as much as you want …it’s a great way to meet people and feel more involved in your community. It’s also a beautiful place to spend some time. Annual membership £10 ( £5 Concessions)

  • Attend our monthly workdays which are held on the second Sunday of the month throughout the year between 11 and 2. Culpeper exists because many people contribute their time, knowledge, good will and muscle. Workdays are a great way to get involved and find out what Culpeper has to offer you in return! No previous gardening experience needed and everyone is welcome…just turn up.

  • Volunteer in the garden, helping with the varied tasks of running this community project.

  • Apply for a plot if you live nearby and don’t have a garden or are a member of a local community group. Annual membership for plotholders £12 (£6 Concessions)

  • Come to the garden's social and fundraising events which are advertised on the notice boards and website and in the newsletter.
Information about the garden is available in a number of languages including Bengali, Turkish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Somali, Greek, Italian, French, and Arabic. Contact the garden to be sent this information.
