Learning from Gardens in Japan

This autumn Martha received a grant from the Merlin Trust to visit gardens in Japan to learn about creating gardens for wellbeing and learning.

Culpeper is an amazingly hard-working oasis in the city providing a wealth of benefits for people and wildlife and this was an exciting opportunity to learn about techniques from a different gardening tradition.

As more and more of us live in urban environments, creating gardens that really work for cities becomes ever more important.
